What is an Eagle Discovery Day?
In an effort to help parents find fun activities to keep kids busy on Early Release and days off of school, we partnered with multiple businesses to provide opportunities for fun! Parents don't need to find childcare, kids have fun, and the OBPTO receives a small donation from each business - it's a win-win-win!
We have half & full day options for almost every day without school.
After registration, you may receive an additional request to sign a waiver or provide information necessary to complete camp registration.
Important Notes:
-
Camp details can be found by clicking "more..." by each camp name
-
No refunds unless the camp is cancelled

At STL Rock School, camp is more than just a day off — it’s a chance for students to step into the spotlight and experience the thrill of being in a real rock band.
Just like our summer camps, students will: • Form bands with other campers • Learn instruments like guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals • Write and rehearse songs together • Perform in a mini concert at the end of camp
Camps are designed for students ages 6–18 — no experience needed! Campers will choose whether to learn vocal or choose an instrument to learn: guitar, bass, drums, or piano. Our professional instructors will then help them learn to sign or play an instrument, or improve their skills. Our instructors will work with all levels, from beginners picking up an instrument for the first time to more advanced students sharpening their skills.
Program Highlights: • Hands-on, creative learning in a fun, supportive environment • Focus on teamwork, confidence, and self-expression • Small group instruction so every student shines • End-of-camp concert for friends and family

| | The Coder School Please click "more" for camp details more

At The Coder School, kids age 7-18 learn coding languages such as Scratch, Python, Java, and C# (C sharp). Our full or half day camp programs focus on teaching Scratch, in which we use blocks to create games, tell stories, make cool graphics and much more!
Scratch is an outstanding tool to teach logic and encourage creativity as kids learn how to combine elements of video, music and their own artwork to make interactive projects, laying the foundation for understanding the basics of coding. We love watching the "a-ha" moments as students learn the syntax of a command, "if then" statements, and loops. The "forever" loop is a "magical" command that leads to much excitement because its directive is followed forever!
Camp Participants: Limited to age 7-18 - OB siblings & friends welcome!
Camp Location: The Coder School, 157 Lamp & Lantern Village, Chesterfield
Camp Times: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
** Full day campers should pack a nut-free lunch, snacks & a water bottle
In addition to our Eagle Discovery Day Camps, we also offer: * Code Coaching - a project-based learning experience with a 2:1 student to coach ratio that allows our Code Coaches to create custom projects for students to ensure an excellent learning experience for each student! * Code Classes - weekly, one-hour lessons offered in-person or over Zoom with a 6:1 student to Code Coach ratio. * Summer Camps

Camp Costs: $50 for half day camps
Half Day Camp Times: 1:45-5:00 pm
In addition to our Eagle Discovery Day Camps, we also offer: * Code Coaching - a project-based learning experience with a 2:1 student to coach ratio that allows our Code Coaches to create custom projects for students to ensure an excellent learning experience for each student! * Code Classes - weekly, one-hour lessons offered in-person or over Zoom with a 6:1 student to Code Coach ratio. * Summer Camps
