PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE
Finishing the Year Strong

Hey OB!

Like you, we both can't wait for Spring Break and can't believe that only a quarter remains of the school year. Where does the time go? It's been such an incredible year, and our PTO is in a strong position because of all that you have done to support us. If you care to look through our agendas, meeting minutes, and financial reports, you can find all of that here

This 3rd quarter message is thus one of gratitude first, for a community that continues to show up for our school. Highlights from last quarter include our Trivia Night in February--what a testament to what we can do when we come together AND what an amazingly fun evening (we already can't wait for next year)--and last week's Passport Night, which always blows us away with the celebration of diversity within our school. We are thankful for all the people who made those events, as well as others like our Friendship Day Parties, Chess Club, and Teacher Appreciation, happen.

This message is also one looking forward to next year. To our returning families, we hope you consider the ways you may be able to continue to support our efforts next year. We have several vacancies in coordinator, chair, and committee roles, including After School Classes, Fall Fundraiser, Parent Social, and Garden, and we would love to continue to welcome new volunteers. To those of you who have already reached out and/or filled out a form--THANK YOU. We are so excited to get to work with you on another SOARing school year! To anyone considering, please let us answer your questions and help you pick the perfect role for your interests and time commitment. We truly have something for everyone! Email us at oldbonhommpto@gmail.com and we can set up a time to chat.

While we have already begun working with the office to plan our calendar for next school year, there is so much more fun to be had yet in this one! The Exec Board hopes to see you attend some our fun events yet planned for the last few weeks of the school year--some great ones remain!

As always, thank you again, and please reach out if you ever need anything from us!

OH WHAT A NIGHT!

The OBPTO is so grateful to all the families who made our Passport Night such a success. To all of you who hosted tables, cooked food, presented, and/or performed...thank you for sharing your culture with us all! A special thank you to co-chairs Susan Crecelius and Ana van Bosse--your meticulous planning and attention to detail made this a night to remember. And to Mrs Solomon and Mrs. Kelley for all their hard work prepping the 2nd grade performance: thank you!
